I’m Matt Price—a creative problem solver with an eye for design.
I'm a New York based Creative focusing on the concept, development, and execution of projects involving Motion Graphics, Video Editing, VFX, Character Animation, Illustration, & Post-Production Automation. I've collaborated with top brands like Starbucks, Disney+, General Mills, Nestlé, GSK, and Bank of America, and partnered with agencies including SPCSHP, Grey, JWT, Ogilvy, Geometry, and Y&R.
For the past five years, I worked at SPCSHP (formerly Big Spaceship) as the Associate Studio Director, where I built and led The Studio—an in-house post-production team. I managed creative workflows, schedules, and media production across platforms, all while staying hands-on with video editing, motion design, color correction, and audio. I focused heavily on creating content for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, while developing automation workflows for Supers and captions to streamline post-production. These systems ensured fast, scalable output while meeting platform-specific safety zones and compliance requirements.
Most recently, I served as the Graphics Creative Director for Unsolved Mysteries Volumes 4 & 5 on Netflix. I led a team of animators to deliver over 600 animations, with each episode featuring a unique style—from Jack the Ripper’s 1800s London to modern-day crime scenes in 2020.
Before that, I spent over six years as Art Director & Head of GFX at Gramercy Park Studios, the in-house post-production studio of Hogarth Worldwide. I led teams of 2D and 3D animators through every stage of production—from concept to final delivery—working on everything from emailers and social ads to TVCs, feature films, and even large-scale displays in Times Square.
